This was a very bad movie. - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Reviews

Anyone who has read the books would probably say it was a very flawed plotline. Anyone who can tell good acting from non-acting would probably say the character portrayal was somewhat less than optimum. Anyone who can tell quite good effects from quite bad effects would probably say it was hardly believable... I just say it was disappointing as hell. I mean, for heavens sake, I think we could (mostly) all agree that J.K.Rowling created a truly amazing world--in all of the books. And to have that world ripped to shreds on the big screen is pretty upsetting, especially when one is trusting one of the best-selling stories to a movie company only to have it absolutely *ruined*. I'd say this movie was about as disappointing as any movie I've ever seen. I can't even think about it without feeling nauseous.
